Ashley A. Taylor is an award-winning master aesthetician and founder of Kismet Skin Co., a sanctuary-like skin studio in the nation’s capital. Celebrated for her compassionate, education-focused approach with clients and her individually curated signature facials – a bespoke experience for the skin – Ashley has earned numerous national and local awards and recognitions in her more than 15 years of practice, including being named Aesthetic Next & Aesthetic Record Aesthetician of the Year 2025, DC's Top Aesthetician 2021, and DC's Best Facial 2024 & 2025. 

Ashley was first drawn to aesthetics as an NFL cheerleader, an experience that exposed her to top aestheticians, make-up artists, plastic surgeons and the burgeoning wellness movement. After working with national brands such as Clinique and MAC, Ashley enrolled in and graduated with honors from the Masters Aesthetician program at the Graham Webb International Academy and began her training with  several of the Washington area’s top medspas and plastic surgeons. The experience of treating clients of diverse backgrounds and varied concerns pushed Ashley to pour herself into evidence-based skincare and train in then-new modalities such as microneedling and laser treatments that could improve skin and stymie collagen loss in the critical years before patients often turn to drastic procedures. In 2024, the fates – and 10 years of continuous specialized education and passion for skin – aligned, and Ashley opened Kismet Skin Co. to immediate critical success. At the heart of her practice is the curated Kismet signature facial, which her clients have come to understand as a fundamental building block toward their skin goals.  Today, Kismet is Washington’s top skin studio, blending clinical precision with intuitive care to deliver transformative change – restoring both skin and spirit.    

Ashley’s services are regularly booked 3 months out, with a 30+ person waitlist. Ashley develops custom-tailored facial protocols through self-built full and a la carte service menus.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Chelsea earned a Bachelors of Music degree from Rider University, majoring in Musical Theater.  After performing professionally after college, Chelsea found her passion for working in aesthetics in 2021. This passion for aesthetics, combined with her dedication to building strong connections through attentive and compassionate customer service, has led her to her dream job as Practice Manager here at Kismet Skin Co. Currently residing in Tampa, FL, Chelsea is happiest spending time with her husband, golden retriever, and the newest addition to her family, her daughter, Halle Rose.
